Hi Emil,
Many thanks for your content, it is the best out there!
I feel like everything I learn is valuable but I struggle putting it into practice. I have my scales, arpeggios, and licks, but it seems like all of this is isolated and I dont know how to actually use it. I feel like it would be incredibly useful to learn some tricks for improvising rather than licks, for example, how to practice soloing over the changes, or learning direct ways to create tension and resolve to a chord tone - some way to practice this so that it becomes part of your playing regardless of the key.
I remember you have a really old youtube video lesson for honeysuckle rose, where you give great advice in this direction.
Hopefully this is also useful for the rest of guitar amateurs!
Kind regards,
Pepe
