Guitar Suggestion - electric w/ Bigsby bridge?
What the title says :)
I would like to move from my Strat to something that's a little more mellow. I don't want to look for an Epiphone/Gibson 335 because Gibson quality so variable and they've gotten so hostile to other manufacturers. Collings 35 are super nice but insanely expensive.
So was thinking maybe a Tele with a bigsby (I think Emil is playing Ashton clone with a Bigsby on some videos perhaps?). But I really want to avoid single coils for this guitar.
So maybe too many requirements, but if anyone has ideas would appreciate it. I usually play clean so really rely on the guitar itself for most of the tone and feel.

RE: Pedal board question...
Interested in this question as well as I'm trying to get together a simple setlist to maybe try and play out live somewhere. Since I have some existing gear, wanted to combine into a really small pedal board to feed into a stage amp or house.
Right now I'm leaning towards:
- Tuner - clean signal for tuning
- Compressor - clean signal to help even out volume levels between fingerpicking and strumming
Unkowns:
- I want to have some reverb and a loop station, but not sure where they sit relative to a preamp/DI type box.
- I want to buy a decent acoustic amp (TBD, don't have one yet) that the pedalboard goes into.
- I want to be able to use amp and feed the house where needed - not sure if I should get a DI box with dual output, or an amp with the right output. If I do the DI box, then that's tricky since the output would be before effects, unless DI box has effects loop.
- Loop station should probably be after reverb
So tentatively I think with an amp with a house output.
Tuner -> Compressor -> DI w/ EQ -> Reverb -> Loop Station -> Amp -> House
Not sure, open to input from others who have done this.

Double checking tablature accuracy of banjo rolls and avoiding string squeak
I'm struggling with nailing this part to speed and so had to really slow down and paying close attention to the video.
I'm wondering if on the tab vs video:
-
In measure 22, the 7th note in the measure (a C played on the 7th fret of the D string) is actually still an A, played on the 10th fret.
-
In measure 26, similarly, the C (7th fret on D string) is also the A (10th fret). This makes measure 26 in particular more doable vs having having to to slide down to 7th fret and slide right back up to the index finger on the E (9th fret of G string).
Lesson learned is I shouldn't just tackle the tablature without watching the video in depth - I end up wanting to just speed through it and learn it wrong.
The other issue I'm having is how to avoid string squeak with the fast changes in position at tempo.

RE: What tablature/sheet music program to use?
@emilernebro Thanks for the input, much appreciated.
I'm a little rusty reading/writing sheet music but it can only help to relearn it I imagine.
I found the Dorico SE version which is free and has what seems like all the basics for doing guitar notation + tablature, going to give it a shot.

What tablature/sheet music program to use?
Hi all, recently subscribed for the first time and already learning so much, its insane!
I'd like to start writing out some of my own arrangements and I'm wondering if there's any recommended tab/sheet music programs that work well.
@emilernebro would love to hear if you have any recommendations.
Thanks,
Andy
