Difficult A/C# chord in Silent Night
-
Hello everyone!
I'm currently embracing the Christmas spirit by learning "Silent Night." I've come across an A/C# chord in the TAB on ProGuitar that I'm finding particularly challenging. I can manage to position my ring/middle finger and pinky correctly, but then it feels like I lose all strength in my index finger, which is supposed to hold the barre.
Is this a common difficulty, or am I facing issues due to poor technique? Does anyone have any advice or specific exercises I could practice to improve in this area?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there! Sorry for my late reply! I'm so glad you're working on the "Silent Night" arrangement! Yes, that A/C# chord is tricky, but I have a solution for you. I recorded a video response, since it's a bit easier to explain it on video. Let me know if you have any other questions! Have a wonderful December! Here's the video:Silent Night A chord... – 07:24
