Can anyone please tell me what kind of silver wound round strings I can get that'll give me a rich warm sound. I have used the D'Addario light guage but they are had to keep tuned. I'm looking for the warm sound of the 50's and 60's but on an aaccountic, if that makes sense. Thank you.

The perception of a warm sound is so different from person to person. If you mean that you do not want to much brilliance, brightness and metallic sound with a lot of overtones you could try some coated strings. Or you could go for phosphor bronze, play a lot and not change them for a while

I have to agree... the first that come to mind are Martin... several other companies have sets of phospher/bronze acoustic stings available.. try google or yahoo to look it up... good hunting...
