..... The TAB, to me, doesn't seem to accurately indicate what Emil plays. The use, and placement, of the symbols for ' slur ' and ' slide ' confuse me. EX : For example, second measure of Example 2 .... there are 3 quarter notes, followed by a quarter note rest ...... when Emil plays, his right hand clearly picks the A note 3 times. The way it is written indicates picking A notes 2 times (quarter notes) followed by a SLIDE from the A note to the C# . As Emil plays, he picks Two A notes, followed by a Third stroke on A, using this 3rd picked A to slide into the C#.

There are several more but hoping an explanation with this will clear the rest of my questions.

      Many Thanks,

        Hi!
I sometimes indicate the slide symbol up to a certain note with a line that doesn't particularly say from what exact note to slide from. The reason is that it varies so much. I might slide from a half step below sometimes, and other times from a whole step below or more. So in the TAB that you're speaking of, you don't see what note I'm sliding from in the TAB. But you hear me explain it when I go through the example.
        Kind regards/E
