    • How to utilize the method?

      Hi Emil!

thanks for the interesting and beautiful lesson! The content was a bit surprising for me. I expected a kind of lesson on how particular voices should resolve within a chord progression. That is the information one could utilize when creating his/her own arrangement. Instead, you present a method generating many well-sounding chord progressions. So my question is how to utilize this knowledge for making good arrangements? Is it so that you practice the method so that your chord shape vocabulary gets enriched allowing you to select the right shape when making an arrangement? Or, is there a connection between the method and its application to a concrete melody line one wishes to harmonize? I hope that my question is not too confusing. Thanks a lot for your answer!

    • Soloing over minor chords

      Hi Emil,

thanks for the nice lesson! As country music is also full of minor chords, I would like to ask what scales one can use over them. Just e.g. A minor pentatonic scale over A minor? I tried that and it works. But are there some other possibilities? Thanks a lot!

    • Target notes

      Hi Emil,

thanks a lot for the lesson! I really enjoy it. I have a question about how to use pentatonic scales. Even if you play in a single key using the same pentatonic scale, your examples reflect somehow chord changes. So my question is how to do that. Should I target some specific notes before a chord change like its root?

Moreover, I wonder how you create your solos. Are they built up from some shorter licks you know or somehow else?

      Thanks again!
