I just want to ask a general guitar question! I recently started to tune all my acoustic guitar strings half step down since I find it easier to play that way. I live in a region with a relatively high humidity level and I'm not really sure if thats the cause, but the action seems to be too high on my guitar making it difficult to play. I find that tuning a half step down releases some of the tension making it easier to play. This has some disadvantages such as making it difficult to follow along with pre-recorded backing tracks and jamming with other musicians who are in standard tuning. But I wanted to get some advise on if its really ok to do this or if it will be detrimental to my overall improvement as a guitarist?

    • Doubts regarding 'Jazz lines vol 3' lesson

      Hey guys,
I'm really enjoying all the cool jazz lines I'm learning from this site. I went through vol 1 and 2 of jazz lines and now I'm on vol 3.
I have a doubt - at 20:48 Emil says dominant arpeggios are minor thirds stacked on top of one another. He meant diminished arpeggio right?
      Thanks
