    • Corcovado - classical guitar

I'm posting this to the jazz section but could quite easily be in the classical I guess. This is my take on Corcovado by Jobim.

    • Bach, Brahms and Pachelbel

I figured that it would be nice to share a little more classical guitar playing here today. Sitting in a cafe in Helsinki I'm posting music by three great composers with songs not normally played on guitar. A much nicer experience if you have your headphones handy. All links are streamed on Spotify.

    • Summertime - 3 Styles / 1 song

This is my third post today. Feeling a little more inspired to share some of my playing. I did this more as a tribute to Joe Pass. I'll likely never reach his standard but its always worth a shot. Enjoy

    • Careless Whisper - Fingerstyle

Thought I'd post this one in this section as I would normally post in classical but this would count more as fingerstyle I guess. This is my tribute to the late George Michael with my arrangement of Careless Whisper.

@emilernebro The forum has a lovely layout. Lets hope it gets some more popularity. I've been playing for as long as I can remember and I don't want to give away my age. My hairline however may do this for me :)

    • Not too much here yet - Here is some Bach

Seems like there are not too many posts in this section. I guess the popularity of classical guitar is nowhere near electric or acoustic. Still, there is a great deal of beauty to be found in it. Here is my arrangement of Air on a G string from Bach. Just one example of how orchestral and piano music sounds great on classical guitar.

Lets see some more posts here :)

    • Greeting from Oxford, UK - Solo guitarist

      Hello fellow guitar players,

I'm Mark from the wonderful countryside of Oxfordshire in the UK. I'm a guitar enthusiast and pleased that I scrape a living from playing the 6 string. Hope to participate in your conversations here and post a few of my own. Here is a l title bit of my playing of the Jazz standard 'Summertime'. This arrangement has three different styles played in around 2 minutes. I hope you like it.
