    • right hand technique with thumb pick

Hi there. I have recently started using a thumb pick. When it comes to playing the jazz lines or arpeggios, I feel like my right hand technique is a bit clumsy. I tend to use the thumb pick and my "I" or index finger only. Do you have any suggestions to help me here?

    • Hello from Gembrook Victoria (Australia).

I just joined pro guitar yesterday. I have been playing guitar and bass for a long time. However, I have always yearned to play in the style of Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel. When I discovered pro guitar on facebook, I was very impressed. So here I am. I purchased my first thumb pick yesterday and I am slowly working through the open guitar licks and the banjo rolls. What a great resource to discover whilst we are in social isolation. Stay safe everyone and keep practicing. Mark
